We are currently seeking an Digital Asset Specialist (Business Development Focused), based in Hong Kong.

Primary Responsibilities

Internal Relationship Management & Product Promotion:

  • Act as the primary liaison between the product team and internal relationship managers, educating them on our digital asset product suite.
  • Regularly present product updates, performance, and market trends to relationship managers to ensure they are equipped to pitch digital asset products to their clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor pitches for high-net-worth clients, ensuring that the product fits client investment goals and risk profiles.
  • Coordinate closely with relationship managers to monitor client feedback and improve product offerings based on insights.
  • Provide expert-level consultation to relationship managers and clients regarding product features, performance, and market positioning.
  • Assist in product development by communicating market demands and client preferences to the product and operations teams.
  • Manage a pipeline of prospective clients and maintain strong relationships with internal relationship managers

External Business Development:

  • Identify, target, and onboard new external clients and institutional investors to increase AUM for digital asset product offerings.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and opportunities through networking, attending industry events, and leveraging professional connections.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in the digital asset and blockchain markets to effectively position our products in alignment with market demands.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above;
  • Solid experience in the crypto industry with a network of clients;
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets;
  • At least 8 years of prior sales experience in the financial services industry, preferably coming from an investment bank, traditional exchange, 3rd party vendor working with buy-side trading clients or experience at crypto exchanges, lenders, custodians, or platform providers;
  • Strong trad-fi acumen with experience in trade execution, security lending or margin lending, fixed income, or derivatives;
  • Passionate for institutional crypto finance and an expert understanding of cryptocurrency assets, derivatives, and trading workflows;
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills;
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment;
  • Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English is required. Proficiency in additional local languages is preferred;
  • Immediately available will be preferred
